‘Euphoria’ Will Start Production This January For Season 3
HBO is getting the gang back together!
After years of cancellation rumors, it’s officially been confirmed (again) that Euphoria will return.
HBOI/Max boss Casey Bloys told reporters on Tuesday (Nov. 12) at an HBO/Max press event,
“We are shooting ‘Euphoria.’ I think we have a start date, mid to late January. Nothing’s changed. Somebody said something online, and then this whole thing started. We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy. We’re moving ahead. All of the actors. Is the show.”

In addition to sharing that the highly anticipated season 3 will have 8 episodes, Bloys said,
“I know the show gets a lot of attention now because, you know, it has created some genuine movie stars, and they have various projects that are working on, but we are shooting this season, so nothing has changed.”
A lot has changed since we last saw the cast of Euphoria for season 2, which dropped in January 2022. Sadly, Angus Cloud (Fezco “Fez” O’Neill) passed away on July 31, 2023, from an accidental drug overdose. Barbie Ferreira (Katherine “Kat” Hernandez ) is rumored to be done with the series over issues with show creator Sam Levinson.
On top of that, many have expressed concerns over how involved Zendaya (Ruby “Rue” Bennett) and Jacob Elordi (Nathaniel “Nate” Jacobs) would be with another season due to their busy schedule filming other projects.
Do you think HBO should move forward with season 3 or just call it a day on the entire show?
