State Of New York Buys Dame Dash’s Roc-A-Fella Stake To Settle Tax Debt
Dame Dash’s one-third stake in Roc-A-Fella Records was sold at auction to the state of New York to address his tax debt.
The state secured the winning bid of $1 million through a creditor’s bid, allowing them to sell the asset without upfront payment.
The auction was initially ordered to settle a $823,000 court judgment against Damon Dash, but delays occurred due to additional claims of $1.7 million in back taxes and $223,000 in child support. The sale aims to recoup Dash’s total debts.
