Team Roc, Roc Nation’s social justice division, is launching a true crime podcast called “Corruption Uncovered,” focused on misconduct in the Kansas City, Kansas police department. The first episode premieres on December 6, coinciding with the trial of former detective Roger Golubski, facing federal charges for abusing his power.
Hosted by journalist Josie Duffy Rice, the podcast features interviews with survivors, families, and activists. Managing director Dania Diaz highlights the importance of storytelling to amplify marginalized voices. “Corruption Uncovered” is produced in partnership with Pineapple Street Studios.
