UPDATE: Police Says Story About O.J. Simpson Confessing To M*rder Is False
Update: Law enforcement sources have confirmed to TMZ that a recent report about a m*rder confession is untrue.
Bloomington Police accessed the thumb drives and determined that O.J. Simpson did not confess to anything. The tapes were actually of Iroc Avelli talking to himself.
This week, Avelli claimed to have tapes of O.J. confessing.
Now sir, why did you lie like that?!
Original Story: O.J. Simpson continues to make headlines even after his passing.
Get this, a man named Iroc Avelli — who once worked as a bodyguard for O.J. — allegedly had a recording of O.J. confessing to the k*llings of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her pal Ron Goldman. As you may recall, O.J. was charged in 1994 with their m*rders but was ultimately acquitted following the trial.
So where’s the alleged recording now, well according to a search warrant obtained by TMZ, the thumb drive with the reported confession is in the hands of the Minnesota police. The report says that authorities have also claimed that during the audio O.J. implicates an unknown third party.

As part of an investigation in a separate case, Minnesota authorities seized a backpack containing multiple thumb drives and other items from Iroc Avelli in 2022.
Fast forward to June 2024, and Bloomington PD in Minnesota was reportedly contacted by an LAPD detective who claimed that Avelli and his attorney met with LAPD and told cops that inside the seized backpack was a thumb drive with the recording of O.J.’s confession.
Minnesota police were then granted a new search warrant to access the contents of the thumb drive. However, at the time of this report, what’s actually on the drive has not been shared with the public. It’s also unclear if whatever was found has been shared with the LAPD.
