Tina Knowles Says She Has ‘No Worries’ About Netflix Malfunctioning During Beyonce’s Christmas NFL Performance
Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, is confident that her daughter’s highly anticipated Netflix NFL halftime show on Christmas Day will go off without a hitch, despite previous technical challenges on the platform.
“I have no worries,” Tina Knowles shared with Variety on Wednesday at the Los Angeles premiere of Tyler Perry’s *The Six Triple Eight*. “God is going to be in control and everything is going to go smooth. No glitches. It’s going to be great.”
She added,
“We got some prayer going on. We got some connections.”
Netflix faced technical issues earlier this year during the livestream of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson’s match in November, and the platform also struggled with buffering during its first major live event, a “Love is Blind” reunion in April 2023, which had to be taped and aired later due to the disruptions.
Beyoncé will take the stage at NRG Stadium in Houston on December 25, performing during the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game. This performance will mark the first live rendition of songs from her *Cowboy Carter* album.
Tina Knwles shared that the preparations for the event are intense. “I just left 25 meetings today,” she revealed. “It’s meeting after meeting. What goes into it is unbelievable.”
Will we be watching as a family?
