Michael Vick Named Head Coach At Norfolk State
Michael Vick, former Falcons star and four-time Pro Bowler, has been named head coach at Norfolk State, per The Virginian-Pilot.
This marks the 44-year-old’s first coaching role, taking over a program that went 15-30 in the past four seasons under Dawson Odums, who was fired in November.
An introductory press conference is expected within a week. Michael Vick, who played at Virginia Tech and retired in 2015, has worked as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports and played under coaches like Andy Reid and Mike Tomlin during his career.
