Kanye West Has Tense Moment w/ Lawyer In Newly Released Deposition Footage From 2020 Tech Lawsuit
A&E is giving fans a front-row seat to Kanye West’s legal antics.
In a newly revealed clip from his 2020 tech lawsuit deposition, Kanye had a tense standoff with attorney Michael Popok, avoiding eye contact after logging into the Zoom call.
When Popok called him out for being distracted by his phone, Kanye defended himself, claiming his “mental geniusness” requires him to be on his phone to stay focused on what he calls a “bull****” lawsuit.

The drama continued as Kanye removed his hat but then pulled out a face covering, telling Popok,
“You don’t have the right to see my face!”
The deposition was part of the 2020 lawsuit in which Kanye was accused by MyChannel of stealing technology to advance his Yeezy brand.
Catch Kanye’s full deposition on A&E’s Interrogation Raw: Celebrity Under Oath, premiering December 26.
