Freshman Student & Substitute Teacher Identified Among Victims Of Abundant Life Christian School Shoot*ng
The two victims of the tragic shoot*ng at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, have been identified.
While it was initially believed that five people had d*ed, the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the deceased were 42-year-old substitute teacher Erin M. West and 14-year-old student Rubi Patricia Vergara. Both d*ed of “homicidal firearm-related trauma” after being pronounced dead at the scene.

Vergara, a freshman, was remembered as an “avid reader” who loved art, singing, and playing the keyboard in the family worship band.
The shoot*r, 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, also known as “Samantha,” opened fire in a study hall, killing Vergara and West before injuring six others.
Authorities are still investigating the motive.
Our thoughts are with the victims’ families and everyone affected by this tragedy.
