NFL Star Tyrod Taylor Accuses Ex Draya Michele Of Living ‘Rent-Free’ Amid Eviction Battle
Tyrod Taylor is demanding to move forward with the eviction process against ex Draya Michele, accusing her of living rent-free in his L.A. home.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Tyrod stated that Draya has not been paying rent while occupying the property and is only trying to delay her eviction to prolong her “rent-free” stay. He explained that his company has already obtained a writ of possession, and every additional day Draya remains in the home is costing his company money.
He revealed,
“Since approximately June 2024, I have been carrying the payment of the mortgage and upkeep expenses on the subject property. The approximate monthly amount associated with these expenses is $19,843.00.”
Tyrod added,
“Every day that Draya remains in possession is another day that my company is deprived of possession, must continue to incur expenses, and is unable to list and sell the property.”

This legal battle comes amid a separate dispute between the two over ownership of the home. Draya previously filed a lawsuit claiming Tyrod agreed to sell her the property, but the judge ruled the deal was unenforceable, though allowing her to seek reimbursement for $270,000 in home improvements.
The judge has yet to rule on Tyrod’s request to move forward with the eviction process.
