Former Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulski and Vice President Kamala Harris shared a touching moment during the swearing in of new Senator Angela Alsobrooks.
As Angela Alsobrooks and a group of people, including Barbara Mikulski, approached Kamala Harris, the two sweetly greeted one another as Mikukski said,
”Kamala… I just wanted to say your name properly.”
Kamala Harris, whose name has often been mispronounced, especially during the recent presidential election, appeared grateful for the gesture.
