Florida Woman Texts N*rcotics Investigator To Arrange F*entanyl Purchase
A Florida woman, Octavia Wells, was arrested after accidentally texting a narcotics investigator while trying to buy fentanyl.
Wells, 41, intended to contact a drug dealer but sent her message to a Bay County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) narcotics investigator instead.
The investigator responded undercover and arranged a meet-up at a gas station, where Wells was arrested by BCSO officers. She faces charges of unlawful use of a communication device, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.
