Jay-Z Demands Court Sanction His R@pe Accuser’s Lawyer, Tony Buzbee, Over ‘False’ Allegations After Judge Clears Rapper To File For Case Dismissal

Jay-Z Demands Court Sanction His R@pe Accuser’s Lawyer, Tony Buzbee, Over ‘False’ Allegations After Judge Clears Rapper To File For Case Dismissal
Attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the woman suing Jay-Z for r*pe, has responded to the hip-hop mogul’s recent attempt to have him sanctioned over what Jay-Z calls “false” allegations that have caused irreparable harm to his reputation.
In a statement following Jay-Z’s filing, Buzbee said:
“With each frantic filing, Mr. Spiro’s team reeks of desperation. Mr. Spiro and his team think the laws and rules don’t apply to them. They are flat wrong.”
He continued:
“They also think they can bully or intimidate counsel by filing meritless and frivolous pleadings full of lies and half-truths. Again, they are dead wrong. We won’t be bullied or intimidated, ever.”

According to TMZ, Jay-Z’s legal team filed a motion to have Buzbee sanctioned, arguing that the attorney failed to conduct a basic investigation into the claims made by the “Jane Doe” accuser.
This filing comes after a judge ruled that Jay-Z can move forward with filing a dismissal of the case.
The alleged victim, who claimed Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, and Sean “Diddy” Combs drugged and r*ped her after the 2000 MTV VMAs when she was just 13 years old, admitted to several discrepancies in her story following her NBC News interview.
Jay-Z’s motion against Buzbee reportedly highlighted the contradictions, which included discrepancies about the location and timeline of the alleged a$sault, as well as key witnesses.

The woman claimed her father picked her up after the incident, but he doesn’t remember that. She also stated she saw the VMAs on a Jumbotron outside Radio City Music Hall, but photos proved this wasn’t possible. Furthermore, she claimed to have spoken to Benji Madden at the after-party, but his rep confirmed he wasn’t even in New York at the time of the event.
Jay-Z argued that Buzbee should have discovered these inconsistencies before filing a lawsuit that he believes was reckless and damaging to his name.
As of now, there have been no reports of a judge ruling on the sanction filing.
