Yvette Nicole Brown Criticizes Artists Performing At Trump’s Inauguration As Endorsing His Policies

Yvette Nicole Brown believes performing at Donald Trump’s inauguration is equivalent to endorsing his policies and statements, especially given his controversial remarks about women and people of color. Speaking on *TMZ Live*, Yvette Nicole Brown stated,

“If someone really didn’t want to be associated with him, then they wouldn’t even consider showing up for Trump, despite the importance of the office.”

She rejected the argument that performing at such an event is apolitical, emphasizing that Donald Trump’s actions and rhetoric can’t be ignored.

Yvette Nicole Brown also defended Michelle Obama’s decision to skip the inauguration, expressing solidarity with the former First Lady.

Some artists, including Carrie Underwood and the Village People, will perform at the event, with the latter stating that “music is to be performed without regard to politics.” Kid Rock, who will also perform, compared it to his appearance at Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration, where he attended despite not supporting Barack Obama politically. Yvette strongly disagrees with this perspective.
