Small Plane Crash Sparks Explosion, Engulfs Northeast Philadelphia Homes In Flames
A small plane crashed near Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, triggering an explosion and setting multiple homes ablaze, police confirmed.
Two people were aboard the aircraft at the time of the crash, and authorities report additional injuries on the ground. The extent of the casualties remains unknown.
Fire crews are battling intense flames in the affected residential area as emergency responders work to assess the damage and aid victims.
