Jonathan Majors’ Marvel Return Reportedly Under Consideration To Wrap Up Kang’s Story
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is reportedly considering bringing Jonathan Majors back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), despite the actor’s previous departure following legal issues. Jonathan Majors, who was set to become the next major villain as Kang the Conqueror, had his character tied to future Avengers films like “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” and “Avengers: Secret Wars.”
However, after being convicted on two misdemeanor charges stemming from an assault incident in March 2023, Marvel cut ties with him in December 2023.
Feige and Marvel restructured “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” replacing Jonathan Majors’ role with Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. Still, sources suggest that Feige is now exploring options to bring Majors back to wrap up Kang’s storyline.
Majors, who is also set to appear in “Magazine Dreams” and “Merciless,” is keeping busy, but whether he returns to the MCU remains uncertain.
