Irv Gotti, 54, Reportedly ‘Declared Dead’ After Suffering Stroke
Sad news!
Sources have told All Hip Hop that Irv Gotti, real name Irving Domingo Lorenzo Jr., was “declared dead” on Wednesday morning (February 5) at the age of 54. The famed record producer co-founded Murder Inc. Records in 1998 and is credited with helping develop many big-name artists such as Ja Rule, Lloyd, and Ashanti.
Details surrounding his health condition are limited at this time. However, the tragic news follows reports that he recently suffered a stroke.
He also had a “minor stroke” in August. Speaking on the incident, Irv’s rep said at the time,
“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”
