Claressa Shields is getting candid about her relationship with Papoose.

In a video circulating online, the professional boxer shared how much she values her connection with the rapper:

“I love him, I love having his support. His support is very different from what I’ve had in the past. How he speaks to me is very different.”

She went on to praise their bond, saying,

“Pap is like my best friend. I talk to him about everything. We do have a great connection and he understands me.”

Despite public criticism surrounding their relationship, Claressa made it clear that she isn’t concerned with outside opinions, expressing confidence in what they’re building together.

For context, Claressa and Papoose’s relationship went public last year after Papoose’s wife, rapper Remy Ma, accused him of being unfaithful with the boxer.
