Former ‘RHOA’ Star Apollo Nida Accused Of Adultery & Abuse As Wife Sherien Copes Files For Divorce
Sherien Copes filed for divorce from Apollo Nida on February 7, citing adultery and abuse.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Sherien alleges that Apollo committed adultery and subjected her to emotional and physical abuse:
“[Apollo] has committed adultery multiple times throughout our relationship. [Apollo] refused to seek professional help with his mental health issues and instead he emotionally and physically abused me and brought great emotional abuse to his stepdaughter.”
The filing includes an alleged settlement agreement, in which both parties agreed to live in the marital home “free from all interference and control by the other” until they each find suitable housing and agree on the division of assets. The agreement also states that Apollo has waived his right to spousal support.
However, Apollo denied the validity of the settlement agreement, telling In Touch,
“I did not agree to anything. We’ll have our day in court. A lot of that language is false.”
This divorce filing follows a March 2024 incident where Apollo was arrested for allegedly getting physical with Sherien.
