Ester Dean Issues An Apology To Keri Hilson Over Beyoncé Diss Record: ‘It Was Childish & Didn’t Age Well’
Ester Dean is owning up to her past and issuing an apology to Keri Hilson for her role in the infamous 2009 Beyoncé diss record.
In a post on Instagram, Ester reflected on her involvement in the controversial song, saying,
“I submitted a lot of verses for that remix—one got picked, and it was co-written with Keri. Looking back, it was childish and didn’t age well. I see how it hurt people, especially women, and I take full accountability. I’ve worked with and supported many women since, but that doesn’t erase the moment. I’m sorry for my part in it. Growth is real, and so is this apology.”

The apology comes after Keri Hilson opened up during a Breakfast Club interview, where she revealed that producer Polow da Don pressured her into recording the diss track, which was written by Ester and aimed at Beyoncé and Ciara.
