Texas Authorities Investigating After 6-Month-Old Baby Mauled To De@th By Family Dog

Authorities in Texas are investigating the heartbreaking death of a 6-month-old baby who was reportedly mauled by her family’s dogs earlier this month.

The tragic incident occurred on April 1 at the baby’s parents’ apartment complex. Paramedics responded to a call about the attack and rushed the infant to the nearest hospital — but sadly, she did not survive her injuries.

A local news reporter spoke with neighbors, who shared concerns about the family’s dogs. The household had two male pit bull mixes, and police were reportedly able to identify which dog was responsible for the attack.

The baby has been identified through a GoFundMe page and Facebook posts as Kyomi Temple. The fundraiser’s bio reads:

“It is with a heavy heart we share the devastating loss of our precious Kyomi Temple, who was taken away too soon at just 6 months old. As we grieve, we are faced with unexpected funeral expenses and time away from work as we mourn. We are humbly asking for any support you can offer—whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser.”

As of now, the campaign has raised $3,300 of its $5,000 goal. City public information officer Jason Calder confirmed that the dog involved in the attack will be euthanized in accordance with city ordinance — a decision verbally agreed to by the dog’s owner.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet.

Our thoughts are with Kyomi’s loved ones during this devastating time.
