Al Sharpton recently met with Target CEO Brian Cornell in New York to discuss the company’s decision to scale back its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.
Sharpton called the meeting “very constructive and candid,” according to an update from his National Action Network.
He added,
“I am going to inform our allies, including Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant, of our discussion, what my feelings are, and we will go from there.”
