Offset Wants Court To Reverse $232K Default Award To Men Who Sued Him Over Cardi B Fight
Offset is fighting back against a $232K default judgment.
The rapper wants the judgment overturned after being sued by two men who claim he assaulted them during a 2020 strip club incident.
According to In Touch, Offset recently filed a motion arguing that the men—Leamsy Izquierdo and Humberto Crespo—failed to properly serve him with legal papers following the alleged altercation.
Izquierdo and Crespo originally sued Offset in 2021, alleging that he “unprovoked, jumped from the elevated area in the VIP section to unilaterally assault, attack, and [batter]” them during a night out.
At the time, TMZ reported that Offset was reacting to someone splashing his (now) soon-to-be ex-wife Cardi B with champagne.

The plaintiffs claimed they suffered emotional distress and “severe and permanent injuries” to the head, face, and body, requiring medical attention. They sued for assault and battery and also blamed the venue for failing to provide adequate security.
The strip club, however, denied wrongdoing, arguing that the alleged victims’ spraying champagne contributed to, or was the sole cause of, the incident and their injuries.
Now, Offset is also pushing back, claiming the plaintiffs weren’t honest about how he was served. He said the declaration by the server didn’t confirm that he or anyone on his behalf received the documents.
Offset’s asking the judge to vacate the ruling and toss the case entirely.
