‘RHOBH’ Alum Teddi Mellencamp Shares Uplifting Cancer Update, Says Brain & Lung Tumors Have ‘Shrunk’ Or ‘Disappeared’

Teddi Mellencamp shared a hopeful update on Instagram, revealing her stage 4 melanoma tumors have “shrunk or disappeared.”

After scans, she said, “My tumors have significantly shrunk, which doctors believe means that this all will work and that I will be back to myself and feeling good.” She added, “Hopefully I am done and I will be cancer-free,” after two more immunotherapy sessions.

Echoing her doctor’s encouragement, she joked,

“‘You got that Mellencamp blood, so you’re good.’”

Teddi Mellencamp, who has three children with husband Edwin Arroyave, previously admitted,

“I really like to have control, and this is completely out of my control… I’m really scared.”

Still, she remains optimistic, writing,

“All tumors… shrunk or disappeared so I have 6ish more weeks of immunotherapy and doctors believe I will be healed.” She ended with gratitude: “Thank you to everyone who has sent their love, prayers, and positivity ??????.”
