New Survey Shows Most Latino Voters Believe U.S. Is Heading In The Wrong Direction & Blame Trump For Economic Struggles
Latino voters across the U.S. are sending a clear message to Donald Trump.
A new UnidosUS survey reveals that 60 percent of Latino voters believe the country is heading in the wrong direction, with 70 percent blaming Donald Trump.
UnidosUS President and CEO Janet Murguía said,
“Latino voters are frustrated that their economic priorities are being ignored and that a key promise made by President Trump during the election is not being kept.”
Economic issues top the list of concerns, with nearly 50 percent blaming Donald Trump for rising costs. Tariffs are also a point of contention, with 66 percent saying Trump’s tariff agenda has reduced economic opportunities.
Despite gains among Latino voters in 2024, over half believe the economy is worse now than last year, and many predict it will continue to decline.
