Ne-Yo is addressing comments from his ex-wife Crystal Renay about their kids being around his polyamorous lifestyle.

He says he chooses to be fully transparent with their children, who are 7, 5, and 3 years old.

He explained that each of the four women in his life plays a role in the home. One might be cooking, another helping with laundry, and so on. He says nothing is hidden and everyone understands the dynamic. The singer maintains that the children do not witness anything inappropriate.

Ne-Yo also spoke about his song Miss Independent, saying the meaning has often been misunderstood. He clarified that it was never about expecting women to do it all alone but about celebrating balance and mutual support.
