U.K. Influencer Elizabeth Odunsi St@bbed To De@th By Roommate After Argument Over Cat

The roommate of 23-year-old U.K. influencer and nursing student Elizabeth Tamilore Odunsi has been charged with her murder.

Chester Lamar Grant, who allegedly attacked Odunsi after an argument over his cat, was booked on May 3 with a $500,000 bond and a court date set for May 7, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Houston police say officers found Odunsi on her kitchen floor with multiple stab wounds after responding to an April 26 welfare check. Blood was seen on the rear patio. Grant was found in a bedroom with at least one stab wound and was hospitalized in critical condition after attempting to take his own life.

“Tami was a beautiful soul, full of light, ambition, and kindness,” reads a GoFundMe post aiming to raise €100,000. “She had a special love for children and always dreamed of making a difference in young lives.”

Her family seeks help to repatriate her body to the U.K., calling the loss “unimaginable… at the beginning of a bright and promising future.”
