Smokey Robinson ‘Appalled’ By Serious Allegations From Ex-Employees, Singer Accused Of Sexual Battery & Abuse, Includng ‘Repeatedly Forcing His Fingers Into Their Vaginas’
Smokey Robinson is speaking out after being accused of sexual assault and battery by four former female employees.
In a phone call with the DailyMail earlier today (May 7), the 85-year-old Motown legend responded briefly to the allegations, saying:
“I am appalled.”
Reportedly adding:
“I can’t speak about this right now.”

His remarks come after a bombshell lawsuit was filed on May 6, accusing Robinson of repeatedly abusing four women who were employed as housekeepers by him and his wife, Frances Glandney, over a span of 20 years.
According to the complaint, the women allege that Robinson engaged in non-consensual $ sexual acts, such as “repeatedly forced his fingers and p*nis into their vag*nas, causing severe and excruciating pain.” The lawsuit further accuses him of using “physical barriers, force, threats of force,” and locking his bedroom door to prevent the women from leaving during the alleged incidents, with one plaintiff claiming she was assaulted “at least 20 times.”

In addition to the abuse claims, the plaintiffs allege they were not paid minimum wage or overtime for their work. Frances is also named in the suit. The women claim she had “full knowledge of [Robinson’s] prior acts of sexual misconduct” and failed to take appropriate action.
The plaintiffs said they remained silent for years due to fear of retaliation, public embarrassment, shame, and humiliation. They are now seeking at least $50 million in damages.
