‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Chandra Wilson Says After 20 Years, ‘It Is Time’ To Watch The Show Herself
Chandra Wilson says after two decades of starring on Grey’s Anatomy, she still hasn’t watched most of the hit series, but that’s finally about to change.
The actress told PEOPLE,
“I got as far as season three during COVID, and then we went back to work, so I stopped, and then I haven’t gone back since, so it’s time, right?”

She continued,
“I need to go back. I need to know what they’re talking about.”
Wilson has played Dr. Miranda Bailey since the pilot aired in 2005. She’s one of the last remaining original stars on the ABC hit, which is heading into its 22nd season this fall. As for when she plans to leave the show, she doesn’t, saying,
“I enjoy bringing [Miranda] to life. I enjoy people seeing different sides of her. I enjoy that her hair keeps changing all the time.”
She added,
“It’s really exciting and as long as they want us to do it, hey, we’ll be here to do it.”
