NeNe Leakes Says Mia Thornton ‘Should Fit Right On In’ w/ ‘RHOA’ Cast After ‘RHOP’ Exit: ‘Come On Down Here & Be Messy’
Looks like NeNe Leakes is all in favor of former Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton joining her old stomping grounds in Atlanta.
While speaking to BOSSIP for a segment on her The NeNe Leakes Show, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum addressed Mia’s interest in joining the franchise. Mia previously mentioned she’d love to be a part of the show, citing the “real friendships” and “aesthetics” as part of the appeal.
NeNe, who starred on RHOA from its debut in 2008 through 2020 (with a few breaks), didn’t seem totally convinced about Mia’s take on the friendships. She responded:
“I don’t know about the real friendships—we can rethink that one.”

Still, NeNe went on to say that she has connected with Mia in the past and ultimately thinks she’d bring the right energy to the cast:
“I think she and I may have DM’d each other once or twice…I’m sure she’ll make great Housewives with the rest of these girls. Just come on down here [and] just be messy. She should fit right on in.”
Mia joined Potomac in Season 6 and made waves with her bold personality and candid drama. She officially exited the show after Season 8, citing personal reasons and a desire to refocus on her family and businesses.
Do you agree with NeNe? Would you want to see Mia bring the drama to RHOA?
