Looks like Kevin Gates and Brittany Renner quietly tied the knot, but the marriage was allegedly short-lived.

In a recent interview the Basketball Wives star revealed she married the rapper on April 6 and divorced him on May 28.

Despite the split, Brittany said the two are still following the marital guidelines of their shared religion, Islam, and are currently in a 90-day waiting period, a traditional step to determine whether or not she’s pregnant and if they want to attempt a reconciliation.

While Brittany didn’t disclose the reason for their breakup, she shared that she’s using this time to reset and focus on herself. She also made it clear she feels “no shame” about the situation, saying she simply followed her heart.

Kevin and Brittany first sparked engagement rumors earlier this year during the Basketball Wives season 12 premiere, when they referred to each other as “husband” and “wife,” with Renner wearing a noticeable diamond ring on her left hand.

So far, neither has shared further details about the relationship or the split.
