NFL Star Stefon Diggs Dodges Questions About Viral Boat Party Featuring Mystery Pink Substance: ‘I Try To Keep My Personal Life Personal’
Stefon Diggs is staying quiet about a viral video that appeared to show him handing a bag containing a pink substance to a group of women while on a boat.
Speaking to reporters at Patriots minicamp, the athlete said he’s already had conversations with head coach Mike Vrabel and others in the building, but doesn’t plan to explain himself publicly:
“I kind of, like, have a thing where [I don’t] talk about my personal life with people I don’t know personally. I’m pretty sure everybody here, men and women, are great people, but I try to keep my personal life personal.”

He continued:
“I had a conversation with Vrabel, obviously. I’m gonna echo everything that he said. He told me he’s hoping everybody’s making good decisions. I had a conversation with people in the building, as well, so… Everything else is everything else. The particulars [are] all internal.”
Despite his stance, reporters continued to press Diggs for answers, prompting him to become more stern and add:
“I don’t want to be rude, but I would hate to repeat myself for the fourth time.”
The incident was first addressed by Vrabel back in May, shortly after the video began circulating online. He said:
“It’s something that we’re aware of. The message will be the same for all our players, that we’re trying to make great decisions.”
