The upcoming wedding of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez in Venice is not getting a warm welcome from locals.

Posters saying “No Space for Bezos” are seen all over the city. Alice Bazzoli, part of the anti-Bezos campaign, says the protest is not personal but a response to the billionaire’s extravagant three-day wedding plans. She adds it is another burden on a city already overwhelmed by daily tourist crowds.

Despite the backlash, Bezos and Sanchez are moving forward with their plans after months of preparation.
