LSU Star Flau’jae Johnson Says She & Angel Reese Are No Longer Friends But Still Respects Her WNBA Success: ‘She’s Killing It’
LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson didn’t sugarcoat her current relationship with Angel Reese during a candid interview on “The Breakfast Club.”
“We’re not friends,” she said bluntly when asked where things stand.
Despite the personal distance, Flau’jae acknowledged their shared history.
“That bond we had, and what we did together, winning that title…you can never take that away from us,” she added.
She hinted at behind-the-scenes tension, citing “a lot of media, a lot of locker room stuff,” though she didn’t elaborate. Still, there’s no bad blood.
“I support her in everything she do,” Flau’jae said of Reese’s WNBA success with the Chicago Sky. “She’s killing it.”
She even claps back at online critics: “I be clowning the folks that be talking down on her. I’m just proud of her.”
Now focused on her junior season and music career, Flau’jae added, “Stuff happens…you just gotta grow.”
Are you sad to see these these former friends distance themselves from one another?
