Lil Wayne’s Son, Lil Novi, Claims His Dad Wrote ‘Most’ Of Drake’s Music
Lil Wayne and Nivea’s son, Neal, aka Lil Novi, didn’t hold back when asked who he thinks is the better artist between his dad and Drake.
In a recent interview, the up-and-coming rapper was asked who he’d crown as the top artist between the rap giants. Novi didn’t hesitate to share his unfiltered take on his father’s influence over Drake’s career, saying:
“Lil Wayne. My dad wrote most of his sh*t… If it wasn’t for my pops, there wouldn’t be no Drake.”

He added:
“There probably would be a Drake, but he wouldn’t be where he at now.”
While it’s unclear how factual Lil Novi’s claims are, it’s widely known that Wayne played a major role in launching Drake’s career, signing him to Young Money and mentoring him early on. It’s something Drake himself has acknowledged multiple times throughout his rise to superstardom.
What do you think, is Lil Novi speaking facts or just showing some family bias toward his dad?
