‘Project Runway’ Designer Afa Ah Loo Fatally Shot While Attending ‘No Kings’ Protest In Utah
A peaceful protest against President Trump’s policies turned deadly.
Afa Ah Loo, a fashion designer and former Project Runway contestant, was shot and killed Saturday (June 15) while attending a “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City. Police confirmed the 39-year-old was not the intended target.
Authorities say a man named Arturo Gamboa was seen holding an AR-15-style rifle at the protest, which led two “peacekeepers” to intervene. One fired three shots… one hit Gamboa, another hit Ah Loo.
