Tyler, the Creator Calls Out Podcast Hosts: ‘We Give a Lot Of People Who Aren’t Smart & Just Want Attention Platforms To Be Loud & Incorrect’
Tyler, the Creator still isn’t here for all the podcasts.
In a new interview with The Cut, the rapper was asked about his stance on banning podcasts. He said:
“I think we give a lot of people who aren’t smart and just want attention platforms to be loud and incorrect, and other stupid people follow them.”

He continued:
“Where are the people with skills? We need electricians, we need more drummers, painters, teachers. Everybody with a mic is crazy. I just think that sh*t is gross.”
However, he did shout out two podcasts he actually respects: Deante Kyle’s Grit & Eggs and Recho Omondi’s The Cutting Room Floor.
Back in December, Tyler shared his thoughts on the topic, telling Billboard:
“If I was president, the first thing I would do is take podcast mics away from n*ggas.”
