Diddy Deliberations Abruptly Halted After Jury Raises Questions About Juror’s Ability To Follow Judge’s Instructions
Deliberations in the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial were abruptly paused on June 30 after a note from the jury raised concerns about Juror 25.
“We have received a note from the jury,” said Judge Arun Subramanian, who read it aloud: “We have a juror, Juror 25, who we believe cannot follow your honor’s instructions.”
Subramanian responded by reminding the jury of their responsibility and instructed them to continue deliberating. Details about Juror 25’s specific objections remain undisclosed, though TMZ identified him as “a 51-year-old gay white man with a Ph.D. in molecular biology who’s studied veterinary science.”
Diddy faces five felony charges, including two counts of s*x trafficking and one of racketeering — which alone could result in a life sentence. He’s been held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since his September 2024 arrest.
Earlier in the trial, one juror was replaced due to unclear residency. Unanimity is required for a verdict.
