Khloé Kardashian Says Overediting w/ Photoshop Made Her Look Like A ‘Cartoon Character’
Khloé Kardashian is reflecting on her Photoshop era.
On the latest episode of her podcast #KhloéInWonderland, the reality star opened up about once being so consumed by filters and edits:
“I wouldn’t dare post a photo without heavily Photoshopping. […] We all just got consumed in this filter lifestyle and we couldn’t see ourselves without a filter.”
Looking back on her old pics, she said:
“I look like a cartoon character and it’s humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself. I feel bad that I thought I needed to look like that.”

She added that part of the pressure came from the people around her:
“If they took my photo, they would make me look that way before giving it to me. And then I would think that’s how I looked… I really had to reprogram my mind to be like, okay, we have to lay off the filters. This isn’t real. That’s not how I look. And I don’t want to look like that. It was a strange time.”
While she still loves good lighting and different angles, she said:
“I don’t have to Photoshop every photo.”
