Wendy Williams’ Lawyer Says He Plans To Sue The People Responsible For Her Guardianship
Wendy Williams’ legal team isn’t backing down.
While celebrating Wendy’s birthday at Fresco by Scotto in NYC, her attorney Joe Tacopina made it clear he’s gearing up for a legal fight over her ongoing guardianship.
He told TMZ that if their motion to end the guardianship is denied, he plans to push for a jury trial:
“We’re going to sue the people responsible for this.”

If you recall, Wendy Williams has been under a court-ordered guardianship since 2022 after her bank, Wells Fargo, raised concerns about her mental state and possible financial exploitation. Wendy denies being cognitively impaired and has expressed frustration over her lack of freedom.
