Spike Lee Drops Trailer For Crime Thriller ‘Highest 2 Lowest’ Starring Denzel Washington & A$AP Rocky

 

Spike Lee has released the first trailer for Highest 2 Lowest, his new crime thriller inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 Japanese film High and Low.

Set in New York City, the film follows Denzel Washington as a music mogul caught in a kidnapping and ransom plot. The cast also includes A$AP Rocky, Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, Dean Winters, John Douglas Thompson, and Ice Spice.

Highest 2 Lowest hits theaters August 15 before streaming on Apple TV+ September 5.
