Daniel Kaluuya To Star In & Co-Write ‘Spider-Punk’ Animated Movie For Sony
Daniel Kaluuya is stepping back into the Spider-Verse.
Deadline reports that Sony Pictures Animation is in early development on a new animated #SpiderPunk movie, with Kaluuya set to reprise his role as Hobie Brown and co-write the film alongside Ajon Singh. Plot details haven’t been revealed, and no additional casting announcements have been made.

Kaluuya made his debut as Spider-Punk in 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and is expected to return in Beyond the Spider-Verse, which hits theaters June 25, 2027.
