Kid Cudi Reveals C*caine Addiction Stopped Him From Ending His Own Life

Kid Cudi has opened up about his darkest moments, revealing that c*caine once kept him from ending his own life.

In a preview of his CBS Mornings interview, the Cleveland rapper told Anthony Mason, “That was my life for a while, you know? I was running to the grave and I had a d*ath wish.” He added, “And I was so dark and su*cidal… the success was there, but happiness… I don’t think I felt happy. I think I had a hard time dealing with the fame, and the reason why I was doing c*caine was so I didn’t bl*w my brains out.”

In his memoir “Cudi: The Memoir,” he recalls a harrowing night in his New York apartment: “After doing more c*ke than I ever had in my life… my legs wouldn’t work, so I collapsed to the floor… My heart was racing. It felt like it was going to burst any minute.”
