Track Star Sha’Carri Richardson Issues Apology To Boyfriend, Sprinter Christian Coleman, Following Domestic Violence Arrest

Sha’Carri Richardson isn’t done with her apology tour.

In a heartfelt statement shared to her IG Story, Sha’Carri addressed her boyfriend, fellow sprinter Christian Coleman, and asked for his forgiveness after being arrested for domestic violence. She wrote:

“I APOLOGIZE TO CHRISTIAN. HE CAME INTO MY LIFE & GAVE ME MORE THAN A RELATIONSHIP BUT A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE FROM WHAT I’VE
EXPERIENCED IN MY PAST.”

Offering insight into what possibly caused her to act the way she did, Sha’Carri continued:

“DUE TO MY PAST TRAUMA & PAIN, I WAS BLIND & BLOCKED OFF TO NOT ONLY RECEIVE IT BUT GIVE IT. I LOVE HIM & TO HIM I CAN’T APOLOGIZE ENOUGH. MY APOLOGIZE SHOULD BE JUST AS LOUD AS MY ACTIONS HONESTLY LOUDER. TO CHRISTIAN I LOVE YOU & I AM SO SORRY”

The message comes hours after she thanked her fans and family for holding her accountable. As reported, the Olympic gold medalist was arrested on July 27 and booked on a charge of fourth-degree domestic violence assault. While at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Sha’Carri was captured on surveillance footage repeatedly pushing Christian, who kept trying to walk away. Christian later told reporters that he didn’t think she deserved to be arrested over the dispute.

What are your thoughts on this crazy situation?
