Jonathan Majors Checks NLE Choppa Over His Jesus Comments — “Have You Read the Bible? … Read It Again.”
Jonathan Majors and NLE Choppa went viral after a tense exchange about religion during a recent episode of Den of Kings.
In the clip, NLE Choppa argued that Christianity focuses too heavily on Jesus instead of God, saying:
“If we are man made in the likeness, Jesus is our brother. Why would I drop down and praise my brother instead of praising my father? And that goes back to honoring your parents.”
Choppa continued by claiming that people “praise the Son more than they praise the Father,” which he viewed as misplaced worship.
Jonathan Majors, who had been quietly listening, interrupted to ask whether the rapper had ever read the Bible. Choppa replied:
“I read the Bible. I listen to the Bible. I receive from source.”
Majors’ quick and cutting response instantly shifted the tone of the conversation:
“I would say read it again.”
The exchange left Choppa momentarily stunned, as Majors’ calm but firm reply quickly circulated across social media for its brevity and impact.
