Dr. Dre, Ice-T, Snoop Dogg & Arabian Prince Unite for Animated Crime Series “Tehk City”
Hip-hop icons Dr. Dre, Ice-T, Snoop Dogg, and Arabian Prince are teaming up for an animated action drama titled Tehk City. The project, which Deadline describes as “gritty and stylized,” comes from Ambitious Entertainment and promises to blend street realism with futuristic storytelling.
According to Deadline, Dr. Dre will compose the original score for the series, while each artist will create and perform custom theme music for their respective characters — blending their musical legacies with the show’s dark, cinematic tone.
The voice cast brings serious star power. Ice-T, who also co-created the series alongside Arabian Prince and Tommy the Animator, will voice Mayor Chuck Davis. Snoop Dogg will play Pretty Black, and Arabian Prince will take on the role of Kenyatta Prince.
Additional cast members include Coco as Rhonda Knuckles, Treach as Maniac Maxx, plus appearances from Tracy Morgan, Mike Epps, Busta Rhymes, Roxanne Shanté, and others.
Tehk City is based on the graphic novel Death for Hire: The Origin of Tehk City, which first introduced the gritty underworld that the animated series will now expand. The story follows complex characters navigating power, loyalty, and betrayal in a crime-ridden city — with a soundtrack that reflects hip-hop’s raw edge.
Arabian Prince told Deadline, “Starring the homie Ice-T and a list of stars never before seen in one place, get ready to explore the origin leading up to the animated series of Tehk City — y’all ain’t ready.”
The project marks a major crossover between music and animation, uniting hip-hop’s most legendary voices in a world built from their own cultural influence.
