Boxer Anthony Joshua’s Driver May Face Criminal Charges After Fatal Car Crash

The heavyweight boxing star’s driver has been released from the hospital and may face criminal charges following the de@dly car crash in Nigeria that injured Anthony and k!lled two of his close friends and members of his team, Sina Ghami and Kevin “Latif” Ayodele. A police spokesperson shared with a #Nigerian outlet that the driver, who was hired for the trip, has been speaking with officials as part of the ongoing investigation and could be charged with reckless driving in connection with the accident.
The crash occurred on the Lagos Ibadan expressway, where Anthony’s SUV collided with a stationary truck. Anthony suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized. The driver of the stationary truck involved in the collision reportedly fled the scene and is still being sought by police.
