Bad Bunny Hit w/ $16 Million Lawsuit Over Alleged Unauthorized Voice Recording Used On Two Albums
A new legal battle is unfolding for Bad Bunny as fresh allegations surface over the use of an unauthorized voice recording in two of his songs.
The Latin superstar is reportedly facing a $16 million lawsuit filed in Puerto Rico on behalf of Tainaly Y. Serrano Rivera, who claims her voice was used without consent in “Solo de Mi” from his 2018 album “X100pre” and “EoO” from his 2025 album *Debí Tirar Más Fotos*. Rivera alleges the recording includes her saying, “Mira, puñeta, no me quiten el perrero,” roughly meaning, “Listen, damn it, don’t take away my vibe.””
She claims the phrase has since become closely linked to Bad Bunny’s brand and has been used in concerts and merchandise. Rivera also alleges longtime producer La Paciencia, born Roberto Rosado, requested the recording in 2018, but she never signed a contract or agreed to commercial use.
Rivera is seeking $16 million from Bad Bunny and Rimas Entertainment for alleged violations of her privacy and publicity rights. Both parties are expected to appear in court in May.
