Don Lemon Responds After Nicki Minaj Calls Him A Disgusting Thug Over ICE Protest At Minnesota Church: She Is Weighing In On Matters That Are Above Her Capacity
#DonLemon isn’t backing down from Nicki Minaj.
The former CNN anchor fired back at #NickiMinaj after the rapper’s social media outburst over his reporting from a #Minnesota church protest. In response to her heated post, Don told TMZ, “I’m not surprised Nicki Minaj does not understand journalism and is weighing in on matters that are above her capacity. However, the more appropriate image for her post is a ‘Pick Me’ Doll.”
The spat stems from an incident at Cities Church in St. Paul, where a group of demonstrators disrupted a Sunday service to protest the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in the state. Reportedly, the pastor of the church is an ICE official. Reacting to the protest and Don’s coverage, Nicki said on X, “DON ‘C*CK S*CKIN’ LEMON IS DISGUSTING. HOW DARE YOU? I WANT THAT THUG IN JAIL!!!!!” She added, “HE WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO ANY OTHER RELIGION. LOCK HIM UP!!!!!”
