In “Is God Is”, two sisters set out on a relentless quest for revenge, digging into a dark, explosive family history that pushes them to unthinkable extremes. What starts as pain quickly spirals into something far more dangerous.

The suspense-filled thriller marks the directorial debut of Aleshea Harris, who also penned the screenplay, adapting her own award-winning stage play for the big screen.

The powerhouse cast includes Kara Young, Mallori Johnson, Janelle Monáe, Erika Alexander, Mykelti Williamson, Josiah Cross — with Vivica A. Fox and Sterling K. Brown rounding out the lineup.

Behind the scenes, the film is produced by Tessa Thompson, Kishori Rajan (p.g.a.), Riva Marker (p.g.a.), Janicza Bravo and Aleshea Harris, with executive producers Stacy O’Neil, Nicole King and Kenneth Yu.
