DJ Mustard Granted Final Say In School Decisions For Kids After Accusing Ex-Wife Chanel Thierry Of Degrading Him Online
#DJMustard has scored a legal win in his ongoing custody battle with ex?wife #ChanelThierry.
The famed producer has secured the right to make final educational decisions for their three children through August 2026. If you recall, Mustard previously complained to the court that Chanel had been posting disparaging comments about him online. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the judge’s ruling ultimately determined that some of Chanel’s social media posts violated an order that barred them from speaking in a “negative, disrespectful, or derogatory manner to or about the other parent in a child’s presence or within hearing distance of the child.” Due to her violation, Mustard was awarded final say-so regarding their children’s education/school matters.
As part of the order, the couple must participate in high?conflict co?parenting therapy, and Mustard must provide a list of three qualified therapists for Chanel to choose from. However, Chanel didn’t take a full L in the latest round of their legal feud. Mustard had also asked for $30,000 in sanctions, but the court declined to impose them. Chanel also seems not to be losing any sleep over the judge’s ruling, with her lawyer saying, “It is only for five more months from now, so it’s not permanent, and only for educational decisions.”
